In Between Sundays is a Catholic young adult podcast that gives you the essentials to live in the world outside of church. During the show, we talk about life as young adults and ways to grow in faith. We want to help our listeners become the best person they can be, by helping them develop their body, mind, soul and emotions. Being people of faith requires more than just one hour on Sunday, and we know that we’re not the only ones who believe that.
In Between Sundays is a featured show on SQPN, a Catholic podcasting network and leader in new media.
Our Mission
We are committed to helping young adults grow in faith by catching their attention through creating an online presence and connecting them into a community. Our show serves to provide the truth in a way that will stir the hearts of our listeners and spur them on to connect with each other.
Being young adults ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to not have a support community after leaving college. We want to help remedy that situation by creating an online place for young adults to gather where they can feel at home.
Knowing that, we want In Between Sundays to be a podcast for the other six days of the week.
About the Hosts
Nick Padley – Nick works at a web start-up called My Catholic Faith Delivered. Nick’s current areas of interest extend to thinking about today’s culture, how it reacts with social media and how we, as Christians can impact the world by leveraging all of the digital tools around us. Nick has spent time as a software engineer, a youth minister and a teacher. Nick has been a repeat speaker at the Men of Valor conference in Kansas City and has been a featured speaker at a number of parishes and diocesan events.
Pat Padley – Pat works as a freelance camera operator and owns a video production company in the Kansas City metro area. He graduated from the University of Tulsa (Tulsa, OK) with a major in Film Studies (electronic media production) and marketing. While at TU he got his start in new media by being the co-host of On the U – College Catholic Podcast. Since then Pat has used his talents in the field to produce creative content for many Christian organizations.
Other guests – Sometimes we’ll invite our family and friends on or other special guests (specific to our segments).
