Episode #29 – Holiday Deliciousness

Let’s learn about some delicious holiday food! We have Jeff Young, the Catholic Foodie on the show to talk about Christmas cooking and yummy food. Jeff shares some recipies and some thoughts about bringing your family together at the table for Christmas. We also discuss our favorite holiday movies, along with some exciting SQPN news and the SQPN Giving Campaign.

After the 3 J’s we talk about the What’s My Line segment. Nick and Pat forgot to fit in Barb in Nebraska’s land Greg from Kentucky’s lines from last week… Jeff helps us out with fitting them in while Nick goes a little crazy with the bell and the buzzer.

Pat and Nick are back for another great episode, this time focusing on Confession. The episode starts with the 3 J’s. Pat shares a story about a new Catholic he met in town, while getting his car serviced.

We sit down with our parish priest, Fr. Tom, who talks to us about confession. This is a two-part interview, with the second part coming next week. In this episode, Fr. Tom talks about the history of the sacrament, whether priests and bishops go to confession and why he thinks the sacrament should be referred to as reconciliation rather than confession. (more…)

Nick and Pat start a new segment called Catholics of Caliber where they highlight a Catholic person of interest. In this episode, we interview Jeff Geerling about LOLSaints.com.
